Botanical plates: hand build class (Eng)

Create your own serving plates with floral and botanical designs, bringing nature to your table.


Description

About the class: We will use the beauty of nature to decorate your works. The class will focus on creating plates with plant and nature prints. Our teacher will offer you a collection of beautiful and textural leaves, stems and flowers picked on the same day, but if you have your special leaf or flower in mind for your design, you can bring that to the class as well. Level: all skill levels Duration and timing: The class consists of two sessions: molding and glazing. Molding session: approx. 3 hours Glazing session: approx. 2 hours During the first session, you will create your clay pieces, which will dry around 2-3 weeks before first firing. Then on the second session, you will be able to glaze your creation. There are various glaze options available, and you can choose a date that suits you. Number of Participants: The workshop will be held in a small group of up to 8 participants. Enjoy personalized attention in our intimate class setting. How to prepare for the class: Consider wearing clothes you don't mind getting a bit dirty. We'll provide an apron and all necessary materials for each participant. Q&A and cancellation policy:

Our cancellation policy & other: Full refund if cancelled at least 10 days in advance. For cancellations after this period, we may offer to join another class/course if we have available slots. Please note that cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled class/event are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled. You may transfer the class/course to another person if you can't make it. Our studio is for adults. We allow children aged 14 and over to be accompanied by an adult, but both would need to book a place separately (except for Kids Clay Day where the recommended age of the participants is in the class description and depends on the class) We respect your wish to bring a friend or relative to a class or course, but we do not have enough space in the studio for comfortable waiting, so we kindly ask you not to do it.
